Once the process was over, the participants presented the project explained why and when they were going to Cyprus to learn about recycling of the clothes and the most popular logos were picked and presented to the school. The participants of this project are from Lithuanian national team were very excited because pupils from the school were participating in this event in big numbers from smallest classes to the highest classes.

Teacher and participants of national Lithuanian team decided that this event was so successful that it is worth making another event even bigger after they come back from training in Cyprus. They have already informed the Council of Students and discussed with them what would be better choice for the event and decided to make a fashion show as the dissemination event. Research about Green wardrobe in Lithuania

Lithuania is the country of creative people. Since long ago Lithuania has a lot of good green practises that are recognised only now in the world but in Lithuania they have been practised for years. One of those practises is caring about clothes and their reusing or recycling. Our grandmas have been knitting from the same threads for decades. They have been undoing the sweaters that we are not wearing anymore and making over another kind of sweaters, socks or blankets. Materials from the old clothes have been used for decades, to make different kind of clothes out of them. Lithuanians love to save the nature and that means saving clothes as well. So, through the years there have been many practises that have been developed mostly in the rural areas that helped people not only to survive but also to not contaminate nature with useless products from clothes production. One more important practise to mention in a daily life is using of natural materials such as linen. Linen as material has been one of most used materials in Lithuania's history over hundreds of years so we can say that green course for Lithuanians had started not some decades ago but hundreds of years ago.

In this period when there are a lot of E.U. projects Lithuania is certainly involved in many ways in different European projects to pursue green course mentioned by European Commission. In this moment in Kaunas train station there is an exposition about the clothes and how many of them it takes to make one tone of the clothes.

Lithuanians have been naturally exchanging the clothes with their neighbours or family members or just reusing the clothes in the best way possible so they didn't have big need for containers especially not in the rural areas. However, cities don't always work in the same way as rural areas as there are more people so Lithuanian government decided to make another project to preserve clothes and exchange them and make different kinds of containers that could be collecting clean used clothes that are still in good conditions. The same containers are suitable also for leaving used shoes that are in good condition.

First type of container is green. You can put in it clean used clothes. People can take clothes from the container and reuse it or wear it so give back the second life for the clothes.

Another kind of container is the red one. It has the same function as the green one. However, the only difference of the red container is that it belongs to Red Cross organisation. And the difference is that Red Cross is responsible for taking these clothes, that are collected, and giving them to the families or people who really need them. The same condition applies for the red container. The clothes must be clean and in the good condition to be put in this container.

One more experience that has been passed through generations in families, or between neighbours friends, or relatives is exchanging clothes. For example, older children in family give their clothes to younger children when these clothes don't suit them anymore. Neighbours or friends or relatives exchange old clothes that they don't use with each other to have bigger variety of clothes.

One more app that is known worldwide, concerning reusing of clothes, is called Vinted has been also created in Lithuania. It started as a startup, which it still is, ended up becoming popular in all the world as the platform that can be used for selling the used clothes in good conditions.

To sum it up, Lithuanians will continue pursuing Green Course because it's in our blood and is a natural part of our lives since we were children.
