Follow up Activity
Follow up activity was done in Athens on May 24, 2024, and participants of the program presented the activities and the results that we have done during our Youth Exchange.
In the follow up activity, there were approximately 20 young people, students, teachers and youth workers. Except the previous activities, that Youth Navis implemented, were published in Youth Navis website, Facebook, YouTube channel, Instagram, video, photos and information about the program.
What Youth Navis' participants in the program wrote:
Nikolas Ntaflos: It was a unique experience with special people. I am grateful for the knowledge I received on the subject of fast fashion and I hope others have had this opportunity. Finally, I want to thank the Acpelia organization for the hospitality, everything was perfect!!!
Venia Papalampropoulou: The Green Wardrobe Erasmus Plus program changed how I see things. I learned about sustainable living and why it's important to think before I buy clothes. Learning to sew was cool because I can fix my stuff instead of throwing it away. We also talked about how some companies trick us with greenwashing. Now, I know how to make smarter choices when I shop. This program taught me a lot about taking care of the planet and myself.
Vasiliki Mathe: Participating in this Erasmus project was a transformative journey. It's astounding to reflect on the profound impact that such an initiative can have on one's growth and self-awareness. The ice-breaking games served as a gateway to forge deep connections. The bonds formed here are not just fleeting; they are enduring, with many of us continuing to stay in touch. Delving into the subject matter of the program, we absorbed a wealth of knowledge that has reshaped our perspectives. This experience has been immensely beneficial to me, and I am deeply thankful for the opportunity to be a part of it. I wholeheartedly encourage everyone to seize the chance to be involved in an Erasmus project and experience the cultural exchange and learning it offers.
Sofia Teloniati: My Erasmus experience was incredible. I made international friends,embraced local culture,improved my language skills and admired magnificent landscapes. We studied the impact of fast fashion and its environmental and social consequences. This journey deepened my understanding of sustainable practices and shaped my perspective on the fashion industry.Overall, it greatly enhanced my personal growth, independence, and global perspective.Thank you everyone for this memorable experience!
Panagiotis Banias: I recently participated in an Erasmus+ Youth Excange in Cyprus. All the activities were really interesting and i learned a lot about green fashion. It was an amazing experience and i am really thankful for this opportunity.
Xaris Emanouilidis: As it concerns my Erasmus experience I can't describe it only with words. I had the opportunity to meet new peaple come closer to the peaple of all the countries of the participants and especially with Cyprus. Because of this program I actually was able to develop my knowledge for the environment and generally develop my green profile.
Foivos Kaldis: Participating in this youth exchange was both enriching and challenging. The insights and knowledge I acquired during this project will undoubtedly benefit my future daily life. Delving deeper into the topic, I honed my skills and relished engaging with fellow participants. Interacting with people from diverse countries enriched me culturally, and the newfound friendships I forged are treasures that will endure beyond the project's duration.
Theano Saliverou: The Green Wardrobe initiative under the Erasmus Plus scheme was a real eye-opener for me. It shed light on the essence of sustainable living, especially in the context of our clothing choices. Discovering the art of sewing was not only enjoyable but also empowering, as it equipped me with the skills to repair rather than discard. The program also unveiled the deceptive tactics of greenwashing employed by some brands, enabling me to shop more conscientiously. The knowledge I've gained has been pivotal in shaping my approach to consumerism and environmental stewardship. This program has been instrumental in educating me about the importance of sustainability in both our lives and the environment.
Sofia Rokoma: Embarking on this Erasmus project was nothing short of a revelation. It's remarkable to witness the personal transformation that unfolds through such an enriching program. The initial activities were not just fun; they were a catalyst for creating meaningful friendships. These aren't mere acquaintances; they're connections that we cherish and maintain. The core content of the project provided us with invaluable insights, altering our perceptions and enriching our intellect. I am immensely appreciative for the chance to participate in this project.
