Cyprus Follow Up
Participants from Cyprus were from the Lyceum of Agios Antonios (5 participants) and from C TESEK (2 participants) in Limassol. Follow up activities were done through the classes of the School of C TESEK Limassol on April 19, 2024, and through different ways of promoting our project from the participants from the Lyceum of Agios Antonios since they were also representatives of European programs through their school. We had a lot of different follow up activities, one in each school with the participants and also a follow up activity with our leaders, in the yearly meeting of the NGO ACPELIA on May 19, 2024, in the Multicultural Center at Pissouri village.

Evaluations from our participants
Michalis Chatzimarkou: Before the project, I was worried about my English skills, I expected that there would be a lot of activities where I would have to speak in front of an audience, in groups or pairs. However, the activities were mostly presented in the form of arts, sports and competitions, which made it easier to join the circle of project participants and to communicate more confidently in English. I am happy that I did not panic and when necessary, stood up in front of the audience to present the assignments, communicate with the members of the mixed teams and create monologues and dialogues impromptu in English. I absorbed the movements of traditional dances of other cultures, learned new words, and created a relationship with the project participants.
Marina Landou: During the period of the Green Wordrobe program, I've learned many new things. For example, I have learned how to sew .Not only that, but I was surrounded by new, unfamiliar faces that came from other countries throughout Europe and later became my friends. Overall, I am really grateful for participating in this program since I wouldn't have experienced all this, gained some new knowledge, or even met all these amazing people.
Anna Neokleous: The best experience that I've ever had. I learned so many things about the green wardrobe, I learned many practical things and i communicated with a lot of people from all the teams
Neophytos Omirou: This was my first erasmus project and it was one of the best experience i could have had. I made new friends and had a great time and i also learned a lot about fast fashion and green washing
Eliza Kyriakou: I had a great time. It was a fun experience, and i got to meet new people and be a little more social than i was before. I also learned about fast fashion. I met new people, became friends with them, and learned about their cultures.
Theodora Andreou: For me, this program was an amazing experience because i learned many things about the fashion industry and how much it hurts the environment. Also, I made friends from other countries. In addition, I learned how to be patient and creative.
Paris Savva: The first time I participated in the Erasmus project, it was one of the best experiences I ever had. During the period of the Erasmus program, I learned many things, some of them being fast fashion, sewing, and my favorite one. We met new people, learned about their culture and traditions, and much more.
Olympia Orfanidou (teacher in the school of the students): Upcycling clothes is a rather innovative concept with respect to our country, Cyprus. The fact that our students devoted a great deal of their time to collecting second hand garments and altering them instead of throwing them away has been an invaluable lesson to them. Adding to this the excitement they have felt throughout the entire process, the new friendships they have built, the development of valuable soft skills, like time management, team work, communicating in a foreign language, cultural differences bridging ... We are thankful for this opportunity!
